My repertory covers Baroque to end of XIXth century period for opera, with a particular taste for Bel Canto generally speaking. My favourite composers are unquestionably Rossini and Haendel, in their most acrobatic roles for bass and bass-baritone. I also have the dream to be involved one day in the re-creation of several french operas from the first half of XIXth century including "coloratura" basses in their casts : Adolphe Adam's "Le Chalet", Ambroise Thomas's "Le Caïd", or the more famous Meyerbeer's "Robert le Diable". I call for audacious Theater managers... Last but not least, I have a large experience of Oratorio from all periods, of german Lied and french melodies, and an immoderate taste for american Musicals, from Gershwin to Andrew Lloyd Weber, including Cole Porter or Rogers & Hammerstein. |
